Although the wide-leg trend hit in full force quite awhile ago, and seems to be here to stay for a little longer, we have to admit it’s not the most practical trend. The wide silhouette does not help with elongating your figure, the shape is slightly exaggerated, and it’s definitely not the best option for running around all day long. However, you can have the best of both worlds with a little bell.
Catching the end of summer, this is a super simple, fuss-free look that I just throw on and head out the door. The off-the-shoulder top makes it on trend, paired with casual denim shorts for a perfect errand-running outfit.
Pants have been huge. Culottes, paperback trousers, bell bottoms, with the right pair of pants, you can easily and effortlessly make an outfit. I found these gems at a small boutique in China when I was back home visiting.
It is hard to venture out of the normal pretty dress territory when putting together an outfit for a more formal occasion. While a classy one-piece is a no-brainer, I find that you tend to lose a bit of personality with a simple dress. For this outfit, I wore centered my look around a strappy, lacey camisole. The cobalt blue catches the eye and the details are super intricate.
